brief description
The aim of the course is to provide participants with knowledge of the main challenges to human rights law resulting from technological and geopolitical developments. The microdegree will give an overview of the concept of new human rights, the theoretical discussion surrounding it and discuss the main new human rights. The graduates will able to participate in discussions in relation to corporate social responsibility and the human rights obligations of businesses.
Target group
Government officials; officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs; members of NGOs; lawyers working on human rights issues; others.
Objective
to aquire a microcredential; to understand and analyse challenges to human rights and human rights law; to understand how human rights protection works at different levels and ito be able to offer solutions; to be able to contribute to discussions on human rights issues (including in connection with the responsibility of business enterprises).

Learning outcomes

Lecturer of International Law. Dr Šejla Maslo Cerkic is a Doctor of Legal Science based at the Faculty of Law, Džemal Biejdić“ University of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
