Objective
The course aims to achieve the basic level (A1.1) of communication skill in Korean and to understand Korean culture.
Content
The course is for the total beginners. The Korean alphabet, the structure of syllables and pronunciation will be taught. The course focuses on conversation skill so students can communicate in actual life. The topics are self-introduction, daily life, location, buying, past, weather, time, appointment, weekend activities, Korean studying, plan, etc. Korean culture part also will be covered. The topics are greetings, currency, four seasons in Korea, weekend activities, etc.
Learning outcomes
students:
- are able to read and write Korean alphabet;
- are able to have a conversation in Korean about self-introduction, daily life, location, buying, past, weather, time, appointment, weekend activities, Korean studying, plan, etc;
- are able to make sentences in Korean on the basis of 560 words
