The course aims to achieve the basic level A1.2 of communication skill in Korean and to understand Korean culture.

The course is for the total beginners. The Korean alphabet, the structure of syllables and pronunciation will be taught. The course focuses on conversation skill so students can communicate in actual life. The topics are self-introduction, daily life, location, buying, past, weather, time, appointment, weekend activities, Korean studying, plan, etc. Korean culture part also will be covered. The topics are greetings, currency, four seasons in Korea, weekend activities, etc.

student is able:
to read and write Korean alphabet;
to have a conversation in Korean about self-introduction, daily life, location, buying, past, weather, time, appointment, weekend activities, Korean studying, plan, etc;
to make sentences in Korean on the basis of 560 words
