Introduce different schools of audio description
Content
Audio description is roughly categorized into three styles in the world: the American, the European (this includes the British, French and German styles) and the Scandinavian style. The American audio description is linguistically short, nothing is told up front, rather the description is given only about what can be seen at any specific moment. The European style has quite a lot that is said beforehand: the visually impaired audience member will know the characters before they are introduced, the French style is especially exceptional - even literary imagery is used here. The Scandinavian style encompasses the previous two and is the one that is cultivated in Estonia as well. Here the descriptor will speak what can be seen and only in specific cases will introduce a character before they are introduced themselves. The Scandinavian style leaves more space for the audience member to think and deduce things, doesn't overload the performance with technical terms and supports thus the message that is carried by the performance or film.
